Books/Media

In the past, we have said that books/media from other libraries take up to 2 weeks to be received. Since the beginning of covid, this time frame has doubled. Requests are processed within one business day. If a request is placed on a weekend, it will be processed the following Monday. All physical items are processed the day they are received in the mail.

Articles

Articles are often received within 3 days. Some articles arrive within hours.

If we own the item and you're selecting 'Pick up at the Circulation Desk' (known as our "pull to hold" service), please allow 1-2 business days for processing.

MSU books can be sent to faculty/staff/students that live outside of the Morehead area and do not take classes on campus. This can take up to two weeks to be sent through UPS.

Items will be delivered to faculty offices within 1-2 business days.

Articles from our print serials collection can be scanned and sent to your Request It! account within 1-3 business days.
