Virtual Reality at Camden-Carroll Library

Rules

1. All users must sign a liability waiver before they can use the Oculus Quest. These can be obtained at the front desk.
2. Users must not touch the lens, even to clean it. Seek help at the front desk or the research desk if it needs to be cleaned.
3. Always play in an open space, away from others, as to avoid hurting yourself or others.
4. Checkout time is limited to 2-hour increments.
5. Users are responsible for broken equipment, so be vigilant.

Tips

1. If you start to feel motion sick, stop immediately.
2. Start with First Steps to learn VR controls.
3. Stay within the boundaries created in VR. This will prevent you from colliding with objects.

Waivers

Waivers can be obtained at the front desk of the library.
