Please Tell Us What You Think: February Trials 2013

Our purpose is to regularly seek faculty, staff, and student opinions of new electronic resources which the library could potentially offer.

World Almanac Online

NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Even in the Internet Age the World Almanac still offers a set of facts and statistics of amazing depth and breadth.  From an academic perspective, it is definitely more citable than Wikipedia.  The library will continue to spend a small amount annually to keep the most recent print edition on the shelves.  But should we also spend a bit more each year to offer this online version?

Grzimek's Animal Life Encyclopedia

NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Pronounced "chimmix" this is also a standard reference source that the library has in print format.  Again we are wondering whether we should spend a bit extra to make it easily acessible online.  Be sure to use the drop-down menu to explore all 17 volumes of the e-book.
