Big News: We’ve Added ProQuest Central Premium and Academic Search Ultimate
As part of our ongoing commitment to support teaching, learning, and research across all disciplines, Camden-Carroll Library has licensed two powerhouse multidisciplinary databases: ProQuest Central Premium and Academic Search Ultimate. These resources significantly expand full-text access to peer-reviewed journals, magazines, newspapers, reports, and more—on campus and off.
What this means for you
Deeper full-text coverage across the arts, business, education, engineering, health, humanities, social sciences, and STEM.
Broader perspectives with international journals and news sources.
Faster starts for literature reviews, class assignments, capstones, grant proposals, and faculty research.
ProQuest Central Premium: What’s inside (examples)
A single search spans dozens of subject collections and pages, including:
ProQuest One Business (business, management, markets)
Global/US Newsstream (major newspapers and newswires)
Tip: If you prefer, you can still search individual sub-databases from the ProQuest platform.
Academic Search Ultimate: Why it’s useful
Extensive peer-reviewed coverage across all major disciplines
Strong international journal set for comparative and global topics
Excellent first stop for interdisciplinary coursework and general research
