Tech & Tech Help

CCL has technology available for GSP faculty and students to borrow with their MSUID, including: laptops, iPads, cameras, calculators, wireless keyboards, iPods, headphones, cables/chargers, GPS units, & digital voice recorders.

The Learning Technology Lab, located in the 1st floor Library Commons, can help you with: Creating websites; Assistance with PowerPoint presentations; Video capture and video editing; Burning CDs and DVDs; Scanning (pictures, text recognition, creating PDFs); Word processing and web browsing; ADA-compliant software & tools; and more! For general questions, call 783-2160.

CCL has nearly 90 computers for you to use, found in: the Library Commons, LRC, Tutoring Lab, Study Rooms, & the Library Classroom.

Camden-Carroll Library has changed in the last year, and we've got plenty of room for Governor’s Scholars!
CCL now has new lounge areas with comfy chairs, dining furniture, collaboration spaces, and even a Gaming Room! Visit http://research.moreheadstate.edu/NewAreaGuide for more info.

Whether you need a quiet corner to yourself or a work space for your group, you can find a place on one of CCL’s 5 floors, spanning more than 112,000 sq. ft! 

STUDY ROOMS can be reserved online at the library homepage via the Reserve a Room link. CCL has 3 spaces to choose from, with technology. 

CLASSROOMS can be reserved for instructional sessions or class visits. Email s.mollette@moreheadstate.edu to reserve a classroom.

Collections

Your MSUID cards are your library cards, giving you access to the entire library collection.

This includes technology such as: iPads, laptops, video cameras, chargers & cables, and more.

Our collection also includes regular library materials, such as: books (non-fiction, fiction graphic, & novels); extensive DVD and music collections; an Appalachian-Kentucky collection of fiction, biography, and non-fiction, including KY genealogy, Jesse Stuart, James Still, and Roger Barbour Collections; a Career Collection; Multicultural Reading Room and related books; a Map Collection; a Learning Resource Center (LRC) Collection, including games and puppets; and, more!  Our online collection includes more than 150 online research databases, 50,000 e-books, 500,000 books, 10,000 DVDs, CDs, & Audiobooks, and more.
