Libraries provide ebooks through several online platforms. After finding an ebook in the library search or a database, you may be able to:
- Read it online in your web browser
- Download individual chapters or pages as PDFs
- Download the full book for a limited loan period
- Open it in a separate reading app
Access varies because publishers set different rules for each ebook. Some titles allow unlimited use, while others limit the number of simultaneous readers, downloads, printing, or copying. You may also need to sign in with your university account or create a free account with the ebook provider.
If you have trouble accessing an ebook, contact the library for assistance. Library staff can help you use the platform or find another way to obtain the book.
