Voter Information Guide

The registration process can be a little daunting. When you're of legal age, you become eligible to vote in national and local elections. Voters must be U.S. citizens and 18 years of age.

USA.gov states that the following places may offer voting registration:

• State or local voter registration and/or Election Offices
• The Department of Motor Vehicles
• Public assistance agencies
• Armed Services Recruitment Centers
• State-funded programs that serve people with disabilities
• Any public facility that a state has designated as a voter registration agency

USA.gov also states that Kentucky requires registration 29 days before the election.
