Desk Copies for Faculty

If you are a professor and would like to enquire about Cambridge University Press’ range of academic textbooks, please contact the relevant Sales representative. To help us to respond effectively to your inquiry, please provide details of your course, including the title, course number, start date, and approximate student enrolment, as well as your contact information. We prefer street addresses as we use a courier service to deliver examination copies.

"Desk copies are available to faculty who have adopted the book as required for the course and placed an order with a textbook store. You may access the desk copy request form from the item detail page for the book or by accessing the online form for your region."

Online copies are free, whereas print copies will cost $6 for shipping.

"To request a desk copy or exam copy, please locate the page for the title you are interested in receiving and click on the 'Request Exam or Desk Copy' link. This link will bring you to a form that you will need to fill out in order to submit a formal request. "

Desk and examination copies to qualified instructors. Requests could take 3 to 4 weeks.

For a desk copy, find it in their catalog, Under the "If You're an Educator" section, select Request a Copy and complete the online form. Your request will be sent to a Pearson rep for review and fulfillment.

You will first need to find the appropriate title, then click on the "request inspection copy" link located under the description. The title may be available in print, as an e-Inspection copy, or both.

You will need to register first before you can request a desk copy. Allow 7-10 business days for delivery.

First, set up an account. Then search for the title and select the review copy button. "Books available for review are flagged with 'Review copy available,' or you will see the review copy button on the right-hand side of the book product page."

"A desk copy of titles published by Simon & Schuster's Adult division that has been adopted for college and university course use is available free to professors teaching that course." You can start the process by entering the ISBN of your text directly on this page.

You may submit your request directly from this form.

"We encourage requests for e-books. Using our online form, qualified instructors can be examining the book in minutes (if requested during our office hours, otherwise overnight). Print instructor copies are also available."

You will need to set up a free VitalSource account first. Then eligible title will have a "Request Print Exam Copy" link.
