Amazon - Offers access to over 1 million e-books. Over 15,000 classic e-books are available in the free collection. E-books can be downloaded directly to your Kindle device via Whispernet and are primarily in Kindle format.

Barnes and Noble - Offers access to nearly 2 million free e-books of several different genres. E-books download in ePub format and can be downloaded directly to your Nook.

Feedbooks - Feedbooks offers access to thousands of free public domain and original e-books. E-books from Feedbooks appear in ePub format and must be downloaded directly from the website to your device.

Free-eBooks - Contains thousands of free e-books and magazines that users can download directly to their Android device. Files come in TXT, HTML, MOBI, ePub, and Kindle formats.

Google Books - Contains millions of digitized books and magazines in a variety of different genres. Content can be accessed and downloaded directly through Google Play app.

Hathi Trust - Over 5 million digitized books and magazines available in PDF format.

Internet Archive - Over 3 million digitized books as well as a large collection of photos and audio files. Books are available in PDF, ePub, Kindle, TXT, and HTML formats.

Many Books - Over 29,000 free e-books available in PDF, ePub, Kindle, and TXT formats.

Open Library - Over 1 million free e-books available in TXT, PDF, ePub, MOBI, and Kindle formats.

Project Gutenberg - Over 39,000 free e-books, including popular classics. E-books are available in HTML, ePub, and Kindle formats.
